Warrior Spirit Benefit for the Brave Dinner
Join Wall Street Journal-bestselling author, bourbon authority, and social media tastemaker Fred Minnick, and USO National Capital Region Board Member Curt Kolcun for an exclusive vintage whiskey dinner fundraiser to benefit the USO National Capital Region.
Dinner will be a four-course affair, prepared by Chef Justin Garrison, who is widely known for his simple, yet eclectic food combinations using mostly locally sourced ingredients. Owner of Justin Thyme Culinary, Chef Justin has been an Executive Chef for two of Northern Virginia Magazine's Top 50 Restaurants. His cooking style is much like a delightful culinary roadmap.
Enjoy a private tour of the distillery from owners, Scott and Becky Harris. Catoctin Creek staff will also personally craft cocktails and you’ll enjoy vintage historical rye whiskies expertly paired with your dinner!
Whiskies to be served: 1908 Mellon Overholt Rye, 1928 Biltmore Pure Rye, 1942 Golden Wedding Rye, 2021 Catoctin Creek Rye – Warrior Spirit Barrel #3 Cask Proof Apple Brandy Finish.
This will be a magical evening with only 36 seats and one not to miss!! Dinner is priced at $350, and includes all four courses, cocktails, rye whiskies, and a bottle of Catoctin Creek Barrel Select Rye – Warrior Spirit Barrel #3 Cask Proof Apple Brandy Finished. 100% of dinner proceeds benefit the USO!
